Hey Dave, its music to my ears to hear that microdosing acted as a gateway for you to have a full LSD trip, and that you’re glad you did. I hope it can be the same for many others. Thanks for sharing.

It took about a week for me to get the LSD. In the meantime, I did a lot of reading about LSD and decided to try the full experience before microdosing. I’m glad I did.

In my case, the promised benefits of microdosing peaked my interest and that created the gateway to the full experience.

Absolutely. I think you should write a post on it 🙂 You’ll offer another perspective, even in your comment you’ve articulated problems with the trend in a way that I haven’t. Thanks for the comment, send me a link when your post is online 😉

I was actually thinking of writing a post on the same thing. Microdosing is great, but the way it’s often presented can obscure the deeper value of psychedelics. This is especially true when microdosing is (subtly or overtly) presented as somehow better, safer, or more responsible or practical than full doses.

Of course people should be allowed to do whatever they want, but I think if you are going to use a tool you should at least be made aware of its full potential and utility. Strong proponents of microdosing, in my view, actually have a responsibility to inform people about the other potential benefits of psychedelics. If not, they are doing them a disservice.
